Product Notes
General Information
All artworks presented on this website are original, handmade, one-of-a-kind pieces.
Please note that colors may vary slightly depending on your screen, display settings, and lighting conditions. I strive to represent each artwork as accurately as possible, but slight variations are technically unavoidable.
The copyright of all artworks remains with me. The purchase of an artwork does not include the transfer of any reproduction or commercial usage rights. Any use, especially reproduction, publication, or commercial use, requires my explicit permission.
Frame Care
The frame is made of untreated wood and therefore has a natural, matte surface.
Do not use water or damp cleaning products. Untreated wood can absorb moisture and discolor. If needed, dust only with a soft, dry cloth.
Avoid oily or dirty hands, as the open-pored wood can absorb marks. Whenever possible, handle it with clean hands.
Avoid direct sunlight. As with all natural wood, strong UV exposure may cause slight color changes over time.
Protection from Sunlight & Environmental Factors
Avoid direct sunlight. UV rays can cause the colors of the canvas to fade slightly over the years. Very sunny spots, such as directly by a window with strong midday sun, are therefore not ideal.
Pay attention to room climate. Extreme humidity or strong temperature fluctuations, for example directly above a radiator, can affect the canvas fabric.
Air circulation matters. If the artwork hangs in a rather humid room, such as a bathroom, make sure there is sufficient ventilation to avoid mold forming on the back of the canvas.
Steam Method
Because I work with very thin, untreated fabrics, the canvas may lose some tension over time. If slight waves or looseness develop, there are a few simple ways to increase the tension again.Hold the back of the canvas over steam for a few seconds, for example using a steamer or kettle, keeping enough distance so that no moisture condenses on the fabric.
