About
My works move between structure, chaos, and control. They are intuitive yet deliberate; analytical and at the same time impulsive. They emerge freely, while still following an inner order. I work abstractly, with rich colors and layered compositions. Since 2016, Japan has been a recurring source of inspiration, which can be found in the motifs and ideas of my work. These often serve as the basis or starting point of the process, but are then set into a tension between an individual visual language and a lively aesthetic. In this way, they evolve stylistically beyond their original meaning. The choice of materials is also deliberate. Raw canvases are framed in natural materials, creating a structural counterpoint to the colorful dynamism of the compositions. My artistic practice began during a professional reorientation and grew out of increasing demand. In 2025, I produced my first 60 original works, which have since found homes in a variety of private collections. I live and work in Cologne.
